Underwater DGM System for Shallow Water Sites

Designed to operate in very shallow marine environments NAEVA’s shallow water EM system makes use of a waterproof Geonics EM61 MK2 coil on a floating platform and Trimble RTK GPS or RTS system for positioning. Depending on the depth of the water the platform can be towed by an operator in a small boat or pulled using rope fixed along the shore. NAEVA’s recent successful deployment of the system uses a rubber raft as the platform towed by an operator in a kayak allowing for efficient and precise maneuverability over all accessible areas.

This system is ideal for environments where water depths are below 3ft and large boat mounted systems cannot be used.
